Metalworking saw blades
FOR over 70 years NAP Gladu has
been designing and manufacturing
sawing solutions that reduce cost-per-
cut. The company offers a wide range of
standard, custom and cold saw blades
for automatic and manual machines,
specialising in custom-engineered
solutions that maximise productivity.
NAP Gladu’s engineering team will
visit a customer’s location to gather data
about applications and make sure the
best sawing solutions are being used.
The company produces an extensive
selection of standard circular saw blades
designed to cut ferrous and non-ferrous
materials on automatic and manual
machines. Custom blade options and
features are also available.
It also offers a full line of solid, high-
speed steel circular cold saw blades for
ferrous and non-ferrous materials. All
cold saw blades are manufactured using
the advanced saw designs and CNC
machines to a uniform hardness and
precision structure, providing toughness
and extended saw life.
NAP Gladu’s industrial band saw
blades are available in carbon steel,
high-speed steel and carbide tipped.
Each type is available in various
widths, gauges, tooth styles, sets and
pitches.

Anticor awarded new contracts
ARVIND Anticor, a provider of solutions
in the field of corrosion resistant
equipment, has been awarded two long-
term contracts worth Rs 6 Crore from
M/S Ocean Trade Bulgaria Europe, a
consultant of hot dip galvanising plant
for construction of the world’s largest
pickling plant.
As a first part of the contract Anticor
will supply PP prefabricated modules of
large pickling tanks at the customer’s
site, with high-tech butt fusion technology
imported from Germany, and with the
help of ‘Rita’ tank design engineering
software imported from Europe.
Vice president Manish Srivastava said
that Munsch German extrusion welding
and ‘radius at corner’ technology have
been employed for the purpose of
leak-proof performance. He added
that the second phase of the contract
would be a high-efficiency acid fume
treatment plant, to be delivered by the
middle of 2014. The plant is expected
to be commissioned by the end of the
year. As a result of both contracts, the
customer will be able to achieve a high
finish pickled surface to international
standards. With this facility the company
expects to be the first in the country to
build and construct such a large plant.
