30GHz

new
XHF2-1352+
reflectionless high pass filter has a
passband from 13.5 to 30GHz with
a 3dB frequency cutoff at 12.7GHz,
supporting a wide range of applications
including WiMAX, military, space
and more. It provides low passband
insertion loss (1.3 to 2.4dB), 1.9:1
passband VSWR, 13.8dB stopband
rejection, and 1.8:1 stopband VSWR.
The filter handles up to 1.0W RF input
power in the passband and 0.15W in
the stopband). It comes housed in a
tiny 2x2mm QFN package, allowing
designers to use it almost anywhere on
their PCB.
Reflectionless filters employ a novel
filter topology which absorbs and
terminates stopband signals internally
rather than reflecting them back to the
source. This new capability enables
unique applications for filter circuits
beyond those suited to traditional
approaches. Traditional filters are
reflective in the stopband, sending
signals back to the source at 100%
power. These reflections interact with
neighboring components and often
result in intermodulation and other
interferences. Reflectionless filters
eliminate stopband reflections, allowing
them to be paired with sensitive
devices and used in applications that
otherwise require circuits such as
isolation amplifiers or attenuators.
