This year the job fluctuated as greatly as
ASB grades. During the Fall, Laura Stanley
held the position, leaving in Spring to work as a
congressional campaigner. Bill Thomas took
over her position and brought his ownperson
able style into play. As Secretary of Academics
each acted as a instrumental liason between
faculty and students, as well as administration.
Faculty Forum is a open series of discussions
and presentations coordinated every semester
by the Secretaryof Academics.

Well roll all your ASB odd jobs, complaints and ser
vices together and you have Jessica's job description. In
matters dealingwith everything from Food Service to
Campus MinistryJessica wheels and deals day in and
out. A thankless job of sorts she brings a sense of humor
and maintained patience to it. Jessica has worked ex
tensively this year evaluating housing contracts and
academic proposals, such desperate complaints as the
Add-drop refund deadlines to cafeteria meal cards.
