Where did the name ‘Love
Mae’ come from? We made
up a fictional character,
a lovely lady called Mae.
We all want to be her as
everything she touches is
pretty and perfect.
Where are you based?
We are in Stokers Siding, a
little village 25 minutes’ drive
from Byron Bay in northern
NSW. Our studio is in an old
building that used to be the
general store in the 1920s.
There is also an amazing
vegie garden and creek in
our backyard. It is so dreamy!
What inspires you?
We are so lucky to be
surrounded by so many
inspiring people, and the
littlest ones are usually the
most influential. We also
travel quite a bit which is
