What do you specialise in?
Original Australian jewellery,
predominantly in materials
like recycled stainless steel
and plantation timber.
Where are you based?
Our studio is in Stanmore
in Sydney’s inner west. It’s
a converted ginger beer
factory with lovely reclaimed
timber and dripping in
wisteria; a little oasis from
the busy surrounding streets.
What inspires you?
Flora and fauna, vintage
treasures, architecture and
the urban landscape, and
travels across the globe.
What are your favourite
parts of the job?
While the
designing is fun, some of our
favourite things are getting
the first samples back of
each new collection,
photographing the range,
and catching up with
customers and colleagues at
the trades shows.
What is your favourite Polli
product?
The hexagonal
beads (right). They’re really
fun to wear as they flip and
slide and the colours offset
each other so well.
