Hot Spiced Rum.
Use Hoi Water Glass.
®NE or two lumps loaf sugar. Fill
glass two-thirds full boiling water,and
dissolve sugar; one wine glass Jamaica
rum; six or eight cloves. Serve with
spoon. Good for sore throat.

six dashes lemon juice; one wine
glass Holland gin. Dissolve the sugar
with spoon; add three or four lumps of
ice, and pour in a bottle of soda water.
