pipes for flow assurance of offshore
subsea applications, as well as onshore

Advantages of the company’s pre-insulated
pipes for LNG include shorter installation
time, less risk of material damage during
installation, fewer people on site for
installation, no need for expansion joints,
pipe supports direct on jacket, no need for
high density supports, 100 per cent water
tight (no corrosion under insulation), and no
maintenance.
For products such as liquid sulphur or heavy
fuel oil, Perma-Pipe offers pipe systems
with built in heating systems, based on
skin-effect heating technology. The system
offers the advantages of superior insulation
(k-value 30-40 per cent less than fibre
glass), pipes that can be directly buried,
and less expansion when buried (strain
based design).
