from “first principles” or the subject of philosophical analysis

Some of Hippocrates’ maxims:

•Very high respect for teachers

•Prescribe according to ability and judgement

•Never harm anyone

•No euthanasia or abortions

•Function within realm of ability

•No sexual relations with patients
