added to drainage range
The specialist above-ground drainage
brand of distributor BSS Industrial has
introduced a range of Marley soil and
waste products, to offer customers a
wider choice. By adding the Marley
range to products already offered, BSS
Drainage aims to be a ‘one-stop shop’.

Tubing and cutters for miniature fluid
power components
Beswick Engineering offers high
performance polyurethane tubing,
coiled polyurethane tubing and high
pressure tubing, as well as tubing
accessories such as cutters, clamps
and pliers. Beswick tubing is designed
for applications in medical, dental, and
industrial fluid-power systems, where
flexibility and reliability are required.
The company’s polyurethane tubing
provides flexibility, resistance to kinking
and abrasion, superior memory, and
elasticity, and resists attack by water,
ozone, oil, and grease. ID ranges from
1.59 to 6.35mm. Working pressure at
24°C ranges from 7.9 to 14.5 bar, and
at 66°C from 3 to 5.9 bar. It is available
in a variety of colours, including clear,
black, red, yellow, blue, opaque and
translucent.
Beswick coiled polyurethane tubing
is available with one 40.6cm straight
tail and one 20.3cm tail. Maximum
extended length is 305cm, with 244cm
of working length. ID ranges from 1.59
to 6.35mm, and custom configurations
are available.
The company’s high pressure tubing can
be used with compression fittings. It is
available in various materials, including
copper, nylon and Teflon, in IDs from
0.76 to 4.31mm. Working pressure at
24°C ranges from 14 to 165 bar, and at
66°C from 6 to 165 bar.
Beswick also supplies a tubing cutter
for the precision cutting of tubing, in
a deluxe chrome model with plastic
coated handles, that can cut many
types of plastic tubing and hose up to
25.4mm OD. The company’s tubing
clamps include plastic sleeve tubing
clamps, knuckle thread tubing clamps
and two-ear style clamps.
