Campaign production for precision tubes
Ethen Rohre offers campaign planning
to produce capillary and precision
tubes. Tubes of the same material can
be produced in fixed periods of time,
and so can be planned in advance.
Campaign planning has a number
of claimed benefits for tube-using
companies: shorter delivery times;
flexible delivery times thanks to an exact
preliminary planning; higher security
of supply; less working capital; and
optimisation of production processes.
Ethen Rohre states that campaign
planning provides most benefit if
companies cooperate on the basis of
firm delivery agreements. This allows
companies to rely on guaranteed
production capacities at fixed times,
to count on their allotment of pipes at
a predictable date, and to calculate
with agreed terms, which ensures
interruption-free production.

Stainless steel seamless and welded pipes
Suraj Limited is a manufacturer and
exporter of stainless steel seamless and
welded pipes, tubes and ‘U’ tubes, and
large diameter welded pipes in various
sizes, grades and specifications. The

The size range for welded products is
6 to 1,016mm OD, with 0.6 to 25mm
thickness. Seamless products range
from 6 to 323.9mm OD, with 0.8 to
25mm thickness. Pipes are available up
to 12m in length, and tubes up to 30m.
Materials include all austenitic, ferritic,
Duplex and Super Duplex stainless steel,
and products can be specified to ASTM,
ASME, DIN, NFA and JIS standards.
Specialisations include heat exchangers,
heating elements, surface condensers,
evaporators, digestors, instrumentation
tubing and fluid piping, for applications
in refinery, petro-chemical, food, pharma,
fertiliser, oil and gas, breweries, sugar,
and ship building.
Suraj is an ISO-9001, 14001, BS
OHSAS 18001 certified company, and
also holds certificates for quality in
accordance with AD2000 Merkblatt
W0 and Pressure Equipment Directives
[PED] 97/23/EC from TUV Nord, and
offers material under all national and
international third party inspection.
Suraj has its own lab that can perform
tests such as hydro test, eddy current,
PMI, IGC, UT, RT, spectro analysis, and
mechanical properties.
