Long life oscillator tubes
e2v is a manufacturer of award-winning
products including a complete range of
power grid tubes specifically designed
for demanding industrial markets, such
as tube and pipe welding.
For over 60 years the company has
been supplying power tubes that
provide performance and long life. Its
products are backed up with technical
support, and all tubes are supported
with a two-year warranty.

Most new products are developed in
close collaboration with key OEMs.
The company strives to be responsive
to customer needs, investing in
manufacturing lead-time reduction and

tubes are subjected to extensive high
voltage conditioning and full functional
RF/DC testing procedures.
Ranging in power output from 30 to
530kW, many of the triodes and tetrodes
that e2v manufactures are either direct
equivalents for other manufacturers’
tubes, or can be used to replace
them with the company’s guidance. A
dedicated engineering team can advise
on any particular tube or application.

Demand for self-sealing products
Pattonair, a global aerospace and
defence supply chain service provider,
is reporting a growing demand for
its Uniseal
®
range of metal self-
sealing fasteners designed for multiple
applications, specifically for use in the
aerospace industry.
The fasteners provide a combination
of sealing and fastening in a single
unit. Available in standard and special
head styles, threads, materials and
compounds, they havebeen an effective
sealing and fastening system for many
years. Designed and manufactured
with an O-ring groove beneath the head
of the fastener, Uniseal self-sealing
fasteners automatically control the
level of O-ring compression, making
an air and liquid tight seal. When the
mating surfaces make contact there is
no need for any additional torque.
