Implements Council Directive No. 94/33/EC of 22 June, 1994, on

the protection of young people at work. Repeals and replaces the

Protection of Young Persons (Employment) Act, 1977.

Sets out in statutory form the status and rights of refugees and

procedures for determining whether or not a person should be

afforded recognition as a refugee in the State. Gives effect to the

Convention on the status of refugees (Geneva 28/7/51) and the

Protocol (New York 31/1/67) and the Convention determining the

State responsible for examining applications for asylum lodged in

one of the EU Member States (Dublin 15/6/90).

1978 and 1987.
