(PNTZ) – shipped 256.8 thousand tonnes

of pipe products to customers in January

and February 2008, a decrease of 14 per

cent compared to the same period in 2007.

According to the company, there was higher

market activity in the same period in 2007 due

to the implementation of large pipeline projects

bymajor domestic oil companies. ChTPZGroup

expects a slight decline in output in 2008.

expansion plans with the

opening of a third warehouse

in Spring 2008. This will increase

the company’s capacity at existing

warehouses in Wuppertal and Herdecke.

With a range that includes tube, strip and

coil, Holzrichter achieved a 2007 turnover

of about €212 million.

providing plastic piping systems

for industrial applications. Polypipe Industrial

resistance 18m long welded stainless steel

‘Pearl gas to liquid’ project in Qatar – which

is claimed to be the largest gas to liquid

(GTL) plant in the world.

innovative producer of UV-curable coatings

for tube and pipe. This acquisition accelerates

the efforts of Desotech’s UVentionT group,

which develops innovative custom UV-curable

materials for select US and European markets.

“The tube and pipe industry is a fast-growing

market for both clear and colour UV coatings,”

says UVention market platform manager,

Dr Anthony Toussaint.
