Flextraction Ltd, UK, provides solutions for
capturing at source all forms of airborne
contamination, including dust, fume and
oil mist. The company is the sole UK
representative for the industrial high vacuum
cleaning systems of Kiekens Products BV,
Netherlands.
Flextraction has just added the KW1000
wet and swarf suction cleaner to its range
of KW cleaners. KW1000 is one of a
range of four modular, low noise, strong
suction cleaners for use in the food,
pharmaceutical, metalworking, building
and chemical industries. They clean up
dust particles and granules, swarf and
accompanying coolants and lubricants,
wet industrial waste and sludge.
The 230V 50/60Hz KW1000 is available in
three versions, with either a 2 x 1,100W,
3 x 1,000W or 2 x 1,500W motor, a low
noise level of 63dB(A) at 1m distance. Each
version has a two stage turbo fan producing
an airflow of 410m3/hr, 540m3/hr and
460m3/hr, and suction pressure of 21,000,
20,500 and 24,500 Pa respectively. All three
versions weigh 108kg.
Other cleaners in this range include the
400V 50Hz KW2000, KW3000 and KW4000.
All these cleaners have a three stage turbo
fan producing an airflow ranging from 330
to 630m3 /hr and a suction pressure from
18,500 to 21,000 Pa, both measured at the
inlet, providing an IP55 protection level.
The cleaners weigh 128, 167 and 177kg
respectively.
All KW swarf and suction cleaners have an
80 litre dust container and a 1.8/2.7m 2 filter
area. They are compact in size, measuring
1,010mm x 700mm, with the height
depending on the model chosen.
