ANSR Salmonella Confirmation Test

this document carefully, as it contains essential information regarding receipt and handling of test
samples, materials required, testing procedures, and data reporting. If you have questions at any time

Materials Required
The following materials will be provided by Neogen Corp.:
1. ANSR Salmonella test kit, cat. no. 9820 (store at 2-8oC)
2. ANSR Reader with computer and software, cat. no. 9828/9832
3. Heater block, 80 + 2oC, cat. no. 9826
4. 8-channel pipettor and filtered tips, 10-100 µL, cat. no. 9388/9389
5. Hektoen enteric agar (HE), 500 g
6. Xylose lysine deoxycholate agar (XLD), 500 g
7. Bismuth sulfite agar (BS), 500 g
8. Brilliant green sulfa agar (BGS), 500 g
9. Xylose lysine tergitol agar (XLT4), 500 g
10. Double-modified lysine iron agar (DMLIA), 500 g
11. Tryptic soy agar (TSA), 500 g
Other materials required but not supplied:
1. Pipettor, 20-200 µL
2. Pipettor, 100-1,000 µL
3. Pipette tips, 100-1,000 µL
4. Test tubes, sterile, capped, for 0.5 mL sample volume (e.g., 12 x 75 mm)
