REGIONAL WINNERS
140 New Montgomery in San Francisco, California, won BOMA’s Pacific Southwest Region TOBY Award
in the Historical Building category. Constructed in 1925, this Art Deco building was San Francisco’s
first significant skyscraper and was one of the tallest buildings in San Francisco until overtaken by 650
California Street in 1964.
A massive renovation from 2012 to 2013 brought 140 New Montgomery into the 21st century with state-
of-the-art technological systems, including smart green technology. Fully leased, the landmark building
overlooks the new Transbay Terminal and is home to two critically acclaimed restaurants, a luxury bike spa,
and a private outdoor pocket park.
“We are delighted to have received regional TOBY recognition,” said Lisa Blandford, Property Manager.
“This magnificent and unique property is truly a prominent part of San Francisco’s history.”
The management team is comprised of Lisa Blandford and Amanda Marcovitch. Able Engineering Services
oversees engineering at the property.
