RBC Plaza in Minneapolis, Minnesota, won BOMA’s Midwest Northern Regional TOBY Award in the
Renovated Building category. This Class A, 700,000-sf office tower is located along the Nicollet Mall in the
heart of downtown Minneapolis. Constructed in 1991, the building underwent extensive renovations in 2014-
2015 to create a unified space involving the conversion of a former retail and food court space at the Nicollet
Mall into a vibrant two-story atrium within the office tower.
“Winning the TOBY for Renovated Building in the Midwest Northern Regional category was a huge honor
