Mixing-glass

fine
ice,
two
dashes
gum-
syrup,
two
dashes
Angostura
or
Peyschaud
bit-
ters,
one
jigger
whiskey.
Mix,
strain
into
cocktail-
glass
;
add
a
small
piece
of
twisted
lemon-peel
or
a
cherry.

Cocktail.
Prepare
in
the
same
manner
as
Fancy
Brandy
Cocktail,
substituting
whiskey
for
brandy.
