field devices are only added when sufficient operating experience has been
obtained;

field devices are removed when they show a history of not performing in a
satisfactory manner;

the process application is included in the list where relevant
For field devices, failure rate information provided by the Manufacturer should not be
included as this does not demonstrate qualitative suitability under the user’s operating
conditions nor does it support a failure rate that relates to the user’s operating conditions.
