Mini-Circuits’ Wideband
MMIC Balun Covers 2000 to
7000MHz in 3x3mm QFN
Mini-Circuits’ MTX2-73+ is a
wideband MMIC balun transformer
with an impedance ratio of 2:1
covering a wide range of applications
from 2000 to 7000MHz. Fabricated
using IPD process technology,
this model provides outstanding
repeatability with 0.6dB insertion loss,
0.8dB amplitude unbalance, 4° phase
unbalance, and RF power handling up
to +34dBm (2.5W). The unit comes
housed in a tiny, 12-pad 3x3x0.80mm
QFN package with low inductance
and excellent thermal efficiency.

Variable Gain Amplifier with
6-Bit Serial Control, 0.05 to
3.0GHz
Mini-Circuits’ DVGA2-33A+ digitally
controlled variable gain amplifier
provides 19 dB gain with 31.5 dB
gain control in 0.5 dB steps over the
0.05 to 3.0 GHz frequency range.
Designed with an integrated digital
attenuator, this model features a 6-bit
serial control interface and provides
excellent attenuation accuracy within
±0.7 dB enabling precise gain control
for a wide range of applications
including base station infrastructure,
GPS, LTE, and more. The amplifier
provides +16dBm P1dB, and output
IP3 of +30dBm. The DVGA2-33A+
combines multiple functions common
in TX/RX architectures into a single
5x5mm MCLP package, reducing
PCB real estate requirements and
simplifying circuit designs.

office@mcdi-ltd.com www.minicircuits.comMini-Circuits’ Ultra-High
Dynamic Range Dual Matched
MMIC Amplifier, 50 to 3000MHz
Mini-Circuits’
PHA-22H+
dual
matched MMIC amplifier includes
two well-matched dice in a single
package operating over 50 to
3000MHz. It achieves +81dBm
IP2 and +44dBm IP3 in push-pull
configuration, making this model ideal
for suppressing unwanted second
harmonics and for use in ultra-high
dynamic range amplifiers. It provides
16dB gain, +22dBm P1dB, and 1.8dB
noise figure. Usable in both 50 and
75Ω systems, the PHA-22H+ is an
excellent candidate for a wide range
of applications including CATV,
FTTH, optical networks, base station
infrastructure, balanced amplifiers
and more. Fabricated using
E-PHEMT technology, it operates on
a single 5V supply and comes housed
in a 5x6mm MCLP package.

office@mcdi-ltd.com www.minicircuits.comMini-Circuits’ New MMIC
Amplifier Provides High
Directivity from 0.5 to 2.5GHz
Mini-Circuits’
MNA-5A+
MMIC
amplifier covers the 0.5 to 2.5 GHz
frequency range, supporting a wide
variety of applications including
cellular, PCN, SatCom and more. This
model provides high active directivity
(15 - 22dB), making it suitable for use
as a buffer amplifier and minimizing
interaction with adjacent circuits. It
delivers 22dB typical gain, P1dB up to
+14 dBm, 3.1 noise figure, and IP3 up
to +23dBm (at 5V operation).
The MNA-5A+ can operate on a single
supply voltage from +2.8 to +5V, giving
the user flexibility to reduce power
consumption with low voltage operation
or to maximize P1dB and IP3 with
+5V operation. It integrates the entire
matching network and the majority of
the bias circuit inside a tiny 3x3mm
MCLP package, simplifying circuit
design and saving board space. It has
HBM Class 1A and MM Class M1 ESD
ratings and moisture sensitivity rating
of MSL 1, minimizing special handling
requirements on production lines.
