4. Please describe your greatest success as a broker.

CBIZ is so much more than an insurance broker. With a wide range of services in the fields of accounting, tax,

human capital, payroll, insurance services and more, we provide our clients with time, knowledge, experience and

expertise. Evolving from a traditional insurance broker to a more comprehensive and consultative model has helped

our clients grow and our organization to prosper into one of the largest business services firms in the country.

With virtually no peer providing the scope and range of services, our local benefits practice has managed a 95%

client retention rate, year over year growth and an industry leading 13-year average client relationship. Our greatest

success has been the opportunity to grow alongside our clients and share success together.

5. In your view what are the key exposures that an organization like ours faces?

The changing dynamics of the political climate and its potential impact are significant for any organization providing

health insurance today. We spend countless ours reviewing, anticipating, reacting and guiding our clients through

these changes. As a business services provider we understand how changes in this type of legislation impacts all

aspects of human capital management including, but not limited to; tax (even for non-profits), payroll, compensation,

retirement and so much more.

Specific to the foundation are several items for consideration in partnership with a qualified benefits consulting

partner. This list includes, but is not limited to:

1.

Total rewards compensation strategy to incent and retain top talent.

2.

Specialized contract language and benefit plan design related to the advancement of number 1 above.

3.

Control group issues and subsequent divestitures of programs (e.g. the Kauffman School).

4.

Funding/ risk management in relationship to number 3 above.

5.

Section 105(h) non-discrimination issues related to numbers 3 above.

6.

Actuarial services to support accounting methodologies for managing a self-insured and control group plan.

7.

Simplified administrative procedures and risk management for the Foundation in the event the Kauffman

School divests from the control group.

6. What do we need to know about the insurance policies you would recommend and your processes for

placing them?

We have cultivated relationships with virtually every partner for administration, reinsurance, risk management and

other third-party services to support and enhance your benefit strategy. We are fortunate to have preferred level

relationships with most national providers and vendors as well as many regional and local vendors, entitling CBIZ to

preferred and expedited underwriting, set-up and implementation, and claims/issue resolution units dedicated to

servicing CBIZ business clients on a priority basis.
