Question: Can you give me an example of the benchmark and when I will earn a
voucher?
Answer: Sure. As an example, if the dealership’s benchmark is set at two, the dealership
will earn one new GM vehicle voucher when the fourth used car is contracted and
funded with GMF. The dealership will then receive another voucher after they’ve funded
their sixth vehicle and another after they’ve funded their eighth vehicle, and so on… So
the more used vehicles you finance with GMF, the more new GM vehicle vouchers you
earn. Contracts approved with a buy rate below 8% APR are not eligible.
Question: How do I enroll in the program?
Answer: All GM dealers are automatically enrolled in the program. Contact your Dealer
Relationship Manager (DRM) or call 888-556-4616 to obtain your username and
individual password for the Operation New Blue website.
Question: Do multiple store locations count toward a single benchmark or do all
locations stand alone?
Answer: Each individual store location has their own benchmark.
Question: Is there a limit to how many vouchers a dealership can earn or redeem?
Answer: No. There is no limit and/or cap on how many ONB vouchers can be earned or
redeemed within each program period.
Question: Once an ONB voucher is earned, how does the dealership redeem the
voucher?
Answer: Once the dealer earns a voucher, the dealer must log in to
OperationNewBlue.com and print the voucher. The dealer then completes the voucher
and selects CASH or APR reduction. The voucher should be included in a new car
funding package when it is sent to GMF.
Note: Where APR option is selected, the APR may not be reduced below 0.9%
Question: Is the ONB program for both retail and lease?
Answer: Not for this program period. The program currently applies to GM Financial
retail installment contracts; lease contracts are not eligible.
Question: Can the ONB vouchers be redeemed for new and used GM vehicles?
Answer: Think NEW! This program benefits the sales of new GM vehicles. In order for
the dealers to redeem the ONB voucher, the contract must be on new GM vehicles
funded through GM Financial.
