Description
The construction of a new (second) gas storage is envisaged on the territory of Bulgaria. It could be constructed in suitable geological structure
²depleted gas fields (onshore or offshore), salt caverns or aquifer. It must however be kept in mind that the construction of a new underground gas
storage from the start of the geological and research activities to its commissioning could take not less than 7-8 years.
