IWMA
Free places for students/research
students at the IWMA’s CabWire
World Conference in Düsseldorf
in November 2011
It has been agreed by the trustees of the
Educational Trust Fund that support will be
provided for the IWMA’s CabWire technical
conference with the Fund as themain sponsor.
A key part of the sponsorship is the provision
of up to 12 free registrations to students
engaged in study or research in the metal
materials and engineering sectors with
an interest in wire and cable processing
technology.
These free registrations will be made available
on a first come first served basis and the
Trust is contacting universities and institutions
that have departments with students and
research students who might be interested
in the wire and cable sector. Apart from
the scientific interest the event will also
offer a great opportunity for students to meet
potentially very useful contacts for their
future careers.
Anyone interested in making an advance
application for a free registration should contact
the IWMA office for details. The IWMA can
provide up to two free registrations per
university. If the allocation of 12 free registrations
is fully subscribed there will be special low
price fees applicable to students and
academics. For more information please
