Hofburg (Imperial Palace)
The Hofburg was inhabited by the imperial family until 1918 and was thus the political centre
of the monarchy. The Imperial Palace now houses various offices of the Austrian republic,
such as the office of the Federal President, and office of cultural institutions. The imperial
apartments, imperial silver collection and Sisi Museum can be visited.

Located in the sixth district, in between Linke Wienzeile and Rechte Wienzeile streets, the
Naschmarkt is Vienna’s most popular and most famous market. Besides the traditional
market goods (fruits, vegetables, bread, cheese etc.) there are also some small restaurants.
There is a flea market in the adjoining area on Saturdays.
