activities and venues for children, such as playgrounds, parks and zoos. Many museums
offer guided tours and workshops designed specifically for children.
The information centre “wienXtra-kinderinfo” offers information and counselling for all topics
relating to children’s and families’ free time and cultural activities. The centre is located in
the MuseumsQuartier, and the opening hours are: Tuesday to Friday: 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
and Saturday, Sunday and Holidays: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
