Council of which he filled the office of

President in 1936-37. The Council mourns

the passing of a much valued colleague and

friend."

Mr. Duggan served his apprenticeship with

the late Mr. Paul Brown, was admitted in

Trinity Sittings,

1897

and practised

in

•College Street, Carlow.

MR. FREDERICK E. KENNEDY, Solicitor,

•died on the 1st February, 1940, at Dublin.

Mr. Kennedy served his apprenticeship

with his father, the late Mr. Hugh P. Kennedy,

Cavan, was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1902,

and practised at Cavan.

MR. JOHN HARBISOX, Solicitor, died on the

14th February, 1940, at Tullynakill, Comber,

•Co. Down.

Mr. Harbison served his apprenticeship

with Mr. Francis J. Orr, Belfast, was admitted

in Michaelmas Sittings, 1930, and practised

as a member of the firm of F. J. Orr & Co.,

at Belfast.

MR. FRANCIS E. TYDD, Solicitor, died on

22nd February,

1940,

at his

residence,

Richmond House, Clonmel.

Mr. Tydd was admitted in Hilary Sittings,

1876, and practised at Clonmel.

MR. JOHN J. DALY, Solicitor, died on the

24th February, 1940, at Ennistymon.

Mr. Daly served his apprenticeship with

the late Mr. Frederick G. Kerin, Ennis,

was admitted in Michaelmas Sittings, 1894,

and practised at Ennistymon up to 1938,

when he retired.
