HOLIDAY Festival
& mayor's tree lighting ceremony
Kick-off the holiday season at the annual winter holiday festival.
The afternoon activities include: arrival & visit with Santa, sleigh
rides, face painting, make & take crafts, live entertainment, and
concessions. The Mayor’s official tree lighting will take place at
5:45 PM in front of the Village Hall. Be sure to bring your camera
to capture a photo with Santa.

Garage Sale
We will be hosting a huge indoor garage sale! This event is held
to raise funds for the Special Recreation program. This sale is
bound to be fun for everyone. Please come out and shop ‘til you
drop. Vendors will be selling their goods from 9 AM to 1 PM. For

Santa’s Pit Stop at Sportsplex
The ‘Big Guy’ will be making his annual stop at the Sportsplex on
December 7th. Bring your camera to capture a picture of your child’s
visit with Santa. No fee or pre-registration necessary.
Winter Follies
Bundle up and join us at the Winter Wonderland Ice Rink for
skating and entertainment. Popcorn and a hot beverage will be
provided. Watch for further details in our Winter Program Guide.

All aboard the Polar Express! Take a trip to the North Pole with
Santa and Mrs. Claus aboard the Polar Express. Enjoy holiday treats,
crafts, and get your golden ticket punched by our very own conductor!
Kids will hear the Polar Express story on the way to the North Pole
and sing-along to holiday music on the ride back home. Make sure to
bring your camera. We will have time to take photos at the North Pole!
All passengers will board 11:25am train at the Orland Park 143rd
Street Metra Station and return home from the Oak Lawn Metra
Station on the 2:05pm train. The Village of Orland Park is not
responsible for any passengers who miss the scheduled Metra train
run. Space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. Register early!
