Alcala Club

Y

ou might see these people walking

around campus or passing out booklets

at the Founders Chapel Mass and won–

der who they are. Well, these bright and cheery

people are members of the Alcala Club. There

function is to act as official representatives of

USD and

Pres ident Hughes.

They provide

hospitality and answer questions at University

sponsored events. Some of the events they are

present at are: Parents Orientation, Parents

Day, Presidents Club Dinner, Dean's Ball, and

the Puente de Oro dinner. Students are sure to

see Alcala Club assisting each year at the

Homecoming festivities. Parents have helped

the Alcala Club's outstanding birthday cake

~vice to ha_ve a record breaking year as more

calcesh;ive been delivered than ever before.

It

has

taken

this group of dedicated and energetic

people hard work to bring the club

to

what it is

today;; unified.

AED

A

lpha Epsilon Delta is a national

honorary society for students inter–

ested in health related careers.

ED "attempts to make students aware of

future professional careers through speak–

ers, medical school tours, medical clinics,

and informationals." AED's goals include

acquainting students with the professional

medical fields and to guide them with

their career decisions. Members of AED

intend to pursue graduate work in medi–

cal,

dental;

veterinarian school.

Alpha"E!p'silon Delta also enjoys recrea–

tional activities and hosts speakers to

achieve their goals as a fraternity.
