Unlawful carrying Dangerous Goods
If a person takes with him any Dangerous Goods contravention
of Sec. 67 he shall be punishable with imprisonment upto 3 years
and/or fine to Rs. 1,000 and shall also be liable for loss or damage
which may be caused by reason of bringing such goods on the
Railway (Sec. 164)
When travelling, obtain money receipt wherever any amount is
paid to a railway employee.

guard of every passenger train to enable passengers to record their

Holders of concession tickets (item 1 to 28) shall carry
during the journey identity card/Medical certificate/Pas-
senger foil of concession form as the case may be and
produce lor verification on demand by the Ticket Checking
Staff.

In case of item 29 above carrying a certificate as to the proof
of age is desirable during their journey. For details the Sta-
tion Master of the nearest Railway Station may be con-
tacted.
If a person haying purchased a ticket on which no reser-
vation of a seat or berth has been made is presented for
cancellation within 3 hours after the actual departure of the
train for which the ticket is issued or for any ticket valid for
the whole day, within 3 hours after actual departure of the

In case where there is no passenger on 'RAC' in the train
awaiting allotment of berths, vacant berths should be allotted by
the TTE to the passengers who are originally kept on waiting list at
train starting stations giving priority over the passengers with
general tickets. Supplementary charges due on Super fast trains
will be collected from the passengers placed on 'RAC' and 'Waitlist'
at the time of issue of journey ticket itself.
Passenger holding waiting list tickets should not board the
reserved coaches without permission from the authorised staff;
otherwise, they may be detrained and fined. In Rajdhani Express
and Shatabdi Express trains which are fully reserved trains, such
passengers will also be charged.
Accommodation for Ladies
By all Mail/Express trains some unreserved accommodation
has been set apart for ladies. In addition reserved accommodation
has also been earmarked to a. limited extent in First Class/AC
Sleeper class and Sleeper class by important Mail/Express trains.
Boys under 12 years of age may travel in ladies compartment with
relatives or friends.
Reporting Time
Passengers holding confirmed reservation should occupy their
accommodation ten minutes before the scheduled departure of the
train.
Entraining Enroute
Passengers who have reserved accommodation from a particu-
lar station but desire to entrain from another station enroute must
