Listed as one of the“Most Beautiful Villages of France”, Monpazier
is considered the prime example of the ancient bastide town.
Remarkably preserved, it’s a must for all lovers of medieval
architecture. Close by, the monumental Chateau de Biron was
formerly the seat of one of the four Baronies of Périgord.
