Jim Adams: A Retrospective

High Muck A Muck: Playing Chinese

Apr 8−June 11

Opening Party: Saturday, April 8 | 7:30−9:30pm

Surrey-based artist Jim Adams paints landscapes and

portraits inspired by local peoples and geographies and

those of ancient civilizations including Africa.

In the TechLab, interact with

High Muck A Muck

, an

installation that explores Chinese immigration to the west

coast of Canada—both historical and contemporary.

We’ve got other exhibits on view too! Over the course

of the exhibits, events like talks, tours, and Family

Sunday—where families explore, enjoy, and create art

together—are fun and engaging opportunities to connect

with the artworks and the ideas behind them. Find out

more at

surrey.ca/artgallery

.

Opening receptions are a fun way to see new art and

connect with people.

We love seeing families create art together at our Family

Sundays.
