PRESENTATION TO

MR. CECIL BAILLIE-GAGE.

Mr. Baillie-Gage who recently retired from

the position of Solicitor to the Great Northern

Railway Company has been made the recip

ient of a presentation from the Local Solici

tors who represent the Company in various

parts of the country.

It took the form of a

handsome Solid Silver Salver engraved as

follows :—

Recently Mr. W. Gordon Bradley and Mr.

Michael Knight, on behalf of the subscribers,

presented the Salver to Mr. Baillie-Gage at

his residence and expressed to him the good

wishes of the subscribers and their regret

at the severance of a long and pleasant

association. Mr. Baillie-Gage said he felt

deeply touched by this mark of good will

towards him from those with whom he had

been so happily connected in the interests

of the Company, many of whom were old

personal friends, and asked that his thanks

and good wishes be conveyed to all who had

joined to pay him this totally unexpected

compliment.

LEGAL APPOINTMENT.

Mr. Cathal L. Flynn has been appointed

County Registrar for Leitrim. Mr. Flynn was

admitted

in Easter Sittings,

1932,

and

practised since his admission in Carrick-on-

Shannon, County Leitrim, where he held the

position of County Solicitor.

OBITUARY.

MR. WILLIAM A. INGRAM, Solicitor, died

on 13th May, 1943, at Walwroth, Ballykelly,

Co. Londonderry.

Mr.

Ingram was admitted

in Trinity

Sittings, 1890, and practised at Limavady.

MR. PATRICK J. BRADY; Solicitor, died on

20th May, 1943, at his residence " Glena,"

Booterstown, Co. Dublin.

Mr. Brady served his apprenticeship to

Messrs. Maxwell, Weldon & Co., Dublin ;

was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1893, and

practised at 20 Molesworth Street, Dublin

up to the year 1935, when he retired.

Mr. Brady was a member of the Council

from 1910 to 1924, and was President of the

Society for the year 1921-22.

MR. JOHN T. COSGREAVE, Solicitor, died

on 3rd June, 1943, at Rathkeale, Co. Lim

erick.

Mr. Cosgreave was admitted in Hilary

Sittings, 1901, and practised at Rathkeale,
