Selective Call Rejection

Lets unwanted callers know that you are not

accepting their calls

Selective Call Rejection routes unwanted calls to an announcement that you are

not taking calls right now. Perhaps it’s a persistent caller or salesperson who

won’t take ‘No!’ for an answer. With Selective Call Rejection, once you’ve given

your telephone the numbers of unwelcome callers, they get the message.

How To Use Selective Call Rejection

1. Pick up the handset and listen for the dial tone.

2. Press

*

60. (On a rotary phone, dial 1160.) A recording will tell you if the

service is off or on and then give the following options:

• Dial 0 for instructions.

• Dial # to add an entry.

• Dial

*

to delete an entry.

• Dial 1 to hear the entries on the list.

• Dial 3 to turn the service off or on.

When Someone Calls

• When your service is turned ON, callers who are on your rejection list will

hear an announcement that your number is not accepting calls at this time.

You may press 1, 0, # or

*

at any time rather than wait for voice instructions. The

list you create here is separate from any other lists you may be using for Selective

Call Forwarding, Selective Call Acceptance, Distinctive Ringing/Call Waiting and

similar services.
