Custom Toll Restriction
Keep control of long distance calls
Over the years, friends and family get scattered around the country. Unfortunately,
long distance charges can add up and unnecessary calls can become a burden.
With Custom Toll Restriction, no long distance calls can be placed without first
entering a special PIN, so you can keep control of long distance calling.
How To Set Up Your Custom Toll PIN Number
1. Pick up handset and listen for dial tone.

3. When prompted for your PIN number, enter 0000#.
4. Enter the new PIN number of your choosing, and press #. (- - - -#)
5. Re-enter the same number again and press #. (- - - -#)
6. Your PIN Number has been set.
How To Change Your PIN Number
1. Pick up handset and listen for dial tone.

4. Enter the new PIN number of your choosing, and press #. (- - - -#)
5. Re-enter the same number again and press #. (- - - -#)
6. Your PIN Number has been changed.
How To Make Long Distance Calls When Custom Toll
Restriction Is Activated
1. Dial 1 + area code + seven-digit telephone number.
2. You will hear a recording “Your call cannot be completed as dialed, please
hang up”. Go ahead and enter your PIN# and wait for the call to go through.
The Dobson Telephone business office cannot change or look up PIN numbers.
If you forget your PIN, the business office can reset your PIN to 0000. There will
be a service charge for resetting your PIN.
