Copper capillary tubes
Feinrohren SpA, Italy, produces copper capillary tubes and copper tubes. The
company’s copper capillary tubes are used for the production of domestic and
industrial refrigerators and air-conditioners, thermostats and thermometers,
and are produced according to EN 12450 standard or Feinrohren Technical
Specifications, in commercial coils from 30 to 120kg or in straight lengths.
The company’s new Cosmos product line for copper capillary includes a number
of variations. Cosmos Green Cu-DHP copper capillaries for refrigeration and
air-conditioning circuits feature guaranteed flow-rate tolerances and internal
residues and humidity below 50% of the EN 12450 standard, and provide
constant performance for energy savings.
Cosmos Tin provides anti-corrosion external protection, with perfectly concentric
tin plating, homogeneous external tin surface, constant tin thickness plating
and tin thickness value on demand. Cosmos Zinc is produced with controlled
external zinc protection plating, ensuring safety in aggressive environments.
Feinrohren SpA is also a producer of tubes in LWC coils for industrial
applications, sanitary tubes and coated copper tubes.

Superlit Boru San AS, established in
1961, is a manufacturer and exporter in
the pipe sector. In its modern factories,
equipped with the latest technology
and located in Turkey and Romania,
the company manufactures pressure/
non-pressure glass fibre reinforced
polyester (GRP) pipes and fittings (such
as elbows, ‘Y’ branches, tees, flanged
ends and reducers), which are used
for land and submerged applications
in diameters up to 3,500mm.
Superlit produces GRP pipes both with
continuous filament winding (CFW) and
centrifugal casting (CC) technologies,
in full compliance with all national and
international standards, with nominal
diameter (DN) 300-3,500mm, nominal
pressure (PN) 0-40 bar and nominal
stiffness (SN) 1,250-10,000 N/m
2
(Pa).
The company’s GRP pipes are used
for main and distribution lines of
potable water systems, sewage and
wastewater lines, cooling systems of
power stations, submerged pipelines
for seawater intake and discharge,
hydroelectric power plant lines, rain
water infrastructure lines, irrigation,
pipe jacking and relining applications.
Since the company’s GRP pipe is
approximately a quarter the weight
of steel pipe and a tenth the weight
of concrete pipe, installation is easier
and faster. Superlit GRP pipes are
characterised by long life (minimum 50
years) and low maintenance costs, do
not require cathodic protection, and
show high chemical resistance without
any need for additional protection.
Full-face
EPDM
couplings
manufactured by Superlit enable
angular deflection up to 3°, allowing
change of direction without additional
fittings, and guarantee leak proofing
under high pressure/vacuum or at
gravity. Couplings are not polluted
from groundwater and are fully
resistant to root intrusion. In addition
to manufacturing GRP pipe, Superlit
provides services such as consultancy
on project design, consultancy and
training for job site applications (such
as excavation, trench preparation,
bedding, etc), and for loading/
unloading, pipe laying and repair, and
can serve as a turnkey contractor, if
required.
