Pipe bending systems from Tracto-Technik
TRACTO-TECHNIK (TT) specialises in
the field of pipe bending and fabrication.
As an expert for integrated customised
piping and pipe prefabrication the
company has developed a smart and
scalable system that is precision-tailored
to the market requirements and able to
flexibly adapt to the growing needs of
the customers.
By combining high-performance and
innovative pipe bending machinery
with high-precision pipe measuring
technology and efficient piping software
solutions, this system – called Pipe
Bending Systems – provides customers
with the best solution for each specific
application. As an essential part of this
system, TT will showcase its brand new
Tubomat generation at Tube 2016 in
Düsseldorf.
The new Tubomat has been funda-
mentally revised and has a completely
modular design. Apart from a high-
performance pipe bender (up to 48.3mm
pipe OD) the machine optionally
integrates the sawing, deburring, flaring
and cutting-ring assembly function.
The machine impresses using
various technical improvements and
optimisations in all working functions,
the tooling concept, handling and control
techniques and workflow. The modern
control concept provides program
operation as well as well-known four-
fold bending angle pre-selection mode,
and allows for bending data import from
the Pipefab software solution.
For pipe prefabrication Tracto-
Technik also offers the semi-automatic
Tubobend pipe bender series and the
fully automatic Tubotron
CNC pipe bender series.
Both machine lines
are characterised by the
latest control techniques
and can be fully
integrated into modern
production processes.
Of the latter, Tracto-Technik will
exhibit the Tubotron 25 MR, an all-
electric high-performance CNC pipe
bending machine with multi-radius
capability that can precisely bend pipes
with an outside diameter up to 25mm.
In order to increase efficiency in pipe
prefabrication it is not sufficient to simply
install innovative bending machinery; it
is important to also integrate peripheral
processes such as measurement of
sample parts for generation of pipe
bending data or quality assurance
measures.
Both tasks can be easily managed by
Tracto-Technik’s optical pipe measuring
system, Tuboscan S, which is able to
precisely measure-up pipe figures within
only a few seconds.
Finally, the comprehensive Pipefab
workflow management software pack
that performs intelligent networking of all
working stations is the third cornerstone
of Pipe Bending Systems.
With the leap to version 4.0 the new
Pipefab software solution creates
all prerequisites for networked pipe
fabrication. The intelligent workflow
management software accepts pipe and
stock data from CAD and ERP systems;
optimises pipe material consumption
as well as production times and costs;
generates work schedules, production
lots, sawing and bending lists; and is also
able to supply various pipe fabrication
machines directly with production data.

Tubomat
Stainless steel seamless pipes,
tubes and U-tubes
SURAJ Ltd, an ISO-9001, 14000 and
BS OHS 18001 certified company, is a
manufacturer and exporter of stainless
steel seamless pipes, tubes and
U-tubes in various sizes, specifications
and grades. The company serves more
than 70 countries around the world.
Sizes range from 6 to 323.9mm OD,
in 0.8 to 25mm thicknesses. Pipes are
available up to 12m in length; tubes up
to 30m. Materials include all austenitic,
ferritic, duplex and super duplex
stainless steels, and manufacturing is
carried out according to ASTM, ASME,
