Customised large pipe machinery
from a single source
GRÄBENER Maschinentechnik will
present technology and tailor-made
solutions for large pipe production at
Tube 2016.
Quality is an important key to
success, but not the only one. In view
of increasing competitive pressure, pipe
manufacturers, especially when it comes
to future investments, must focus on their
economic success. In order to achieve
a return on investment within a short
time they have to rely on customised
machinery, optimally tailored to their
individual requirements and process
workflows.
There are many companies that offer
machinery for pipe production, but not
all can provide customised machinery
for high-quality large pipes. Only a
handful of these companies are able
to manufacture almost the entire scope
of machines to produce pipes up to the
largest wall thicknesses. During Tube
2016, Gräbener Maschinentechnik will
show that customised technology is not
limited to new machines, but can also
be implemented into existing machinery.
The special machine builder is not only
able to equip a pipe mill with nearly all
machines needed, but is also known for
its tailor-made solutions, for example in
the offshore sector.

Beside customised pipe forming
presses and strong three- or four-
roll bending machines, the company
manufactures several milling machines
according to customer requirements. The
company portfolio includes plate edge
milling machines, bevelling machines,
and long and circ seam milling machines,
as well as pre- and post-bending presses,
continuous root tacking machines, and
impanding and straightening presses.
This product range covers all machinery
necessary for the production of largeSAW
pipes.
Gräbener will also present its
technology in the sector of hot stamping
and hydroforming. The company offers
the entire value added chain from
one source: from feasibility studies,
prototyping and small series production
to complex turnkey solutions.
