Important note for working with stainless steel:

For

working with stainless steel

generally only

iron and sulphur-

free tools are recommended.

A tool should never be used for

stainless steel after processing ordinary steel. Residue from ordinary

steel can be left on the tool. These residues destroy any stainless

steel alloy and lead to the formation of rust on the machined

stainless steel. Even sparks from machining ordinary steel can

damage stainless steel alloys.
