Clamping

Systems

3

Design:

With transverse pole pitch and extremely low installation

height. The high-energy neodymium-iron-boron NdFeB (noble earths)

magnet system, the small installation height and the finest pole pitch

offer a great variety of application options. The massive construction

of the base body and the stable upper plate as well as the high-energy

magnetic system ensure an extremely long and maintenance-free

service life. All clamping plates are equipped with a removable actuating

lever. Machining of the upper plate without impairing the holding force

is possible up to a depth of 5 mm. Attachment on the machining tables

is done using 2 clamping jaws.

Holding force:

max. 80–100 N/cm

2

(magnet quality N50) with ground

workpiece clamping surface.

Application:

The clamping plates have been especially designed for

clamping very thin and small workpieces. The clamping systems can

also be used on spark erosion systems.

Scope of delivery:

Clamping plate with 2 stop bars.

Note:

Further dimensions available on request.

The upper plate can be machined up to a depth of 5 mm without

impairing the holding force. The clamping plates are normally supplied

with 2 stop bars.

BM permanent-magnetic clamping plate

Design:

With the finest transverse pole pitch, easy to pivot across

the longitudinal axis and permanent-magnetic clamping plates. The

high-energy neodymium-iron-boron NdFeB (noble earths) magnet

system and the finest pole pitch offer a great variety of application

options. The massive construction and the stable upper plate as well

as the high-energy magnetic system ensure an extremely long and

maintenance-free service life. All clamping plates are equipped with a

removable actuating lever. The sine bar clamping table is of all-steel

construction, can be swivelled up to 75° and has an extremely low

installation height. The gauge blocks can be adjusted up to 45°. The

support surface for gauge blocks lies 2 mm below the 0 line, thus

allowing very small angles to be set: the setting accuracy for the angle

is ± 5 arc seconds. Machining of the upper plate without impairing the

holding force is possible up to a depth of 5 mm. Attachment on the

machining tables is done using clamping jaws.

Lines of force:

The magnetic field generated during operation is very

low, and thus the residual magnetism in the workpiece and tool is

insignificant.

Holding force:

max. 80–100 N/cm

2

(magnet quality N50) with ground

workpiece clamping surface.

Application:

Ideal for the extremely precise grinding of very thin

and small workpieces with non-parallel surfaces. The angles can bet

set using gauge blocks. The table needs to be locked into place on

the main shank in order to avoid any oscillations during the grinding

process. The clamping systems can also be used on spark erosion

systems.

Scope of delivery:

Sine bar clamping table with 2 stop bars and a

sine lookup table.

Note:

Further dimensions available on request.

The upper plate can be machined up to a depth of 5 mm without

impairing the holding force. The clamping plates are normally supplied

with 2 stop bars.
