sugar,

carbonated

water,

white

grape

juice,

&

cupful

of

shaved

ice.

Make

this

cobbler

in

a

tall

goblet,

placing

the

sugar

in

the

glass

first,

then

the

carbonated

water,

dissolve,

using

a

long

handled

spoon.

Add

the

grape

juice,

and

fill

the

glass

with

shaved

ice.

Decorate

with

skinned

and

seeded

Malaga

grapes,

small

pieces

of

pineapple,

oranges

or

strawberries.

In

fact

use

such

fruits

as

are

in

season.

Serve

with

a

straw

and

a

spoon.
