Take
of
dried
red
rose
pe
tals.

infuse
the
roses
in
a
pint ef
water
for
twelve
hours
;
the
water
should
be
boiling
when
the
roses
are
added
;
after
they
have
infused,
strain
the
liquid,
and
dissolve
two
ounces
of
sugar
in
it,
and
proceed
as
for
t
other
syrups.
