Three further machines have expanded

Streicher’s top-cut machine range.

These are top-cut 10D for tapping

M5-M10, top-cut 16D for M5-M16 and

top-cut 33D for M16-M33.

In order to achieve high output quantity

the two new machines are provided with

two working spindles which operate

according to the overflow principle (bent

shank tap).

All kinds of standard, flange and round

nuts, as well as special parts, can be

machined.

The

consistent

implementation

of

mechanical controls with electrical

monitoring assures uniform high quality

for manufactured parts. A reliable

graveyard shift production is possible

thanks to torque monitoring.

For safety reasons, and in order to design

the machine as compact as possible,

the protective hood encloses the entire

feeding and working area.

The strong coolant current lubricates the

thread taps very effectively and ensures a

high cutting speed and a maximum tool

life. At the same time, it maintains the

cleanliness of all machine and tool parts.

Even after extended service, there is no

accumulation of chips anywhere.

The almost completely dry chips are

automatically

discharged

from

the

machine through a chute when this

magnetic drum is fitted. Mechanical and

electrical safety devices ensure ideal

protection for the operator and the

machine.
