Asmag builds its reputation
as a system supplier
ASMAG, the Austrian machine and
plant manufacturer, can already count
2014 as an outstanding success.
Having celebrated its thirtieth year
in operation, Asmag can take pride in
its line of machinery used for drawing,
straightening, saws and cutters,
chamfering, stacking and bundling.
The company’s new strategic
direction – focused on delivering
complete plants for the manufacture of
precision steel tubes, pipes for OCTG,
and copper and brass tubes, rods, and
sections – has proven successful.
Johann Vielhaber, founder and owner
of the international company, recently
announced the sale of two complete
solutions in the steel tubing field.
The company’s core business
also continues to grow successfully.
Asmag recently delivered a complete
production line to make brass products
and a complete production line to
manufacture flat bars and sections
out of copper and
they both went into
production without a
hitch.
The ingredients in
Asmag’s recipe for
success include: its
dedicated in-house
m a n u f a c t u r i n g
facilities in Austria
and
Germany,
highly
trained
personnel and its
determination
to
put its customers’
satisfaction first.
A n o t h e r
ingredient of its
success is the 2010
acquisition
of
Seuthe
GmbH,
located in Hemer, Germany, a com-
pany with 115 years of experience
in the development of tube welding
technology that was integrated into the
Asmag Group to expand its product
portfolio. In the last three months three
tube welding plants with patented FCF
(flexible cold forming) technology have
been shipped from their facilities, ready
to go into operation.
Asmag celebrated its birthday in April
at the Tube trade show in Düsseldorf,
Germany, together with customers who
shared stories of their many successful
projects and solutions with Johann
Vielhaber.
With each piece of equipment or
entire plant that leaves its production
facilities, it continues to gain customers
around the world.
