• 739 Stage III-IV patients enrolled.
• MOPP-ABV x 6-8 cycles depending on response.
• If CR after 4 cycles (early CR), received 6 cycles total.
• If CR at 6 cycles, received 8 cycles total.
• 20% progressed or were removed from protocol.
• 333 CR patients randomized to RT vs observation.
• CR = “the disappearance of all disease-related
symptoms and measurable lesions”
• 45% of patients participated in the RT randomization.
