1 bottle claret
3 oranges, or 1 pineapple
10 tablespoonfuls sugar
Let this mixture stand in a very cold place or in ice,
for one hour or more, then add one bottle of champagne.,
IMPERIAL PUNCH
Tor a party
1 bottle claret
1 bottle soda water
4 tablespoons powdered white sugar
H teaspoon grated nutmeg
1 liqueur glass maraschino
About a half pound of ice
3 or 4 slices of cucumber rind
Put all the ingredients intoa bowl or pitcher andmix welL

1 pineapple, sliced
4 lemons, sliced
