juice of half a lime; r bottle of imported ginger

ale.

Stir well with long ba r spoon.

peel, a nd domes tic g inger ale.

COFFEE FRAP PE.

Use small mixing glass, into which pu t

One teaspoonful of sugar;

jiggers of coffee;

pony brandy; fi ll with fi ne ice; shake well;

strain into a Burgundy glass a nd serve.

Kummel or kirsch may be used in place of

bra ndy if preferred.

APPETIZER,

LTse small mixing glass filled with ice; add

pony of absinth;

2

dashes of pepsin bitters

and one pony of vermouth.

Shake well and strain into a small thin tumbler.

Add a littler seltzer.

KNICKEBEIN.

Fill one-third of a wine glass with Benedictine.

Add the yolk of one egg a nd fill glass with

brandy.

WHITE CAP.

(Any other dark liqueur, such as apricot

brandy, cream de cocoa; etc., may be used].
