IPA House

Feature

IPA House, near St Andrews, Scotland

Section UK’s IPA House offers an ideal setting for a break - whether a family holiday, to play golf, to enjoy the

sea air and glorious beaches, the many local attractions or to simply unwind and enjoy the panoramic views

across beautiful countryside to the sea and Edinburgh in the distance.

T

he IPA House

is on a farm setting amid

open countryside in the heart of the East

Neuk of the Kingdom of Fife in Scotland,

2 miles from the lovely coastal town of Anstruther

and a mere 7 miles from St Andrews.

There are many world famous golf courses, the

most famous being the historic Old Course at

St Andrews, picturesque ancient harbours and

award winning beaches, all within a 10 minute

drive.

There is an abundance of attractions in the East

Neuk - the town, university, castle and cathedral

ruins of St Andrews, Kellie Castle (1 mile from

IPA House), Hill of Tarvit Mansion House and the

Royal Palace at Falkland. Wildlife sanctuaries and

nature reserves are to be found nearby. The Isle

of May is renowned for its puffin colony, fulmars,

cormorants, seals and porpoise. Boat trips from

Anstruther leave daily through most of the year.

In the evenings luxuriate in the quiet of the

country setting or visit one of the many first class

restaurants or inns in the local seaside villages

or St Andrews. The University of St Andrews is

situated in the town and it is the oldest university

in Scotland; Prince William studied at and

graduated from there.

The IPA House is managed by Pauline Crozier,

wife of Immediate Past President Tom Crozier.
