Comments: Farmer's market and Rural Heritage Park could potentially

be built separately in phases. Both facilities would share parking,

shelters, bathrooms, and certain road improvements. Land acquisition

would cost approximately $1,000,000. The site could accommodate

community events and possibly a future site for a bus stop for

commuters. Possible Local Farmer's Market public/private partnership

opportunities for operations. The Parks Master Plan identifies as a

park opportunity within the general area. Desired location would be

the Page/Smith property of approximately 15 acres. Town Center Plan

identifies the this project concept for the same area. Potential funding

available in FY2013 budget to begin concept planning. Required

roadway improvements along Morrisville Carpenter and Crabtree

Crossing are primary contributors to cost.
