Comments: This project would connect the existing western stub of
Carolina Street to Town Hall Drive. The projected cost is a rough
estimate that is based on the cost to build Jeremiah Street. A
separate project would be needed to improve Carolina Street along
its full length to Church Street to bring it up to the standards needed
to serve as a Main Street, with 20-foot wide sidewalks, street trees,
and angled parking.
Budget: This project may not require
installment purchase should payment in lieu
funds be acquired through Main Street
Development.
